Thursday, October 13th from 7 - 10 pm

💡What is it? We invite all students from Hult to sign up, prepare some traditional dishes and drinks (alcohol is allowed) from their home country and share it with everyone during the evening. Participants will be allocated a table with their country's flag and we will celebrate Hult's diversity and inclusiveness. Hult reimburses up to £75 per table to cover all expenses.

🌶️ What's new? Prepare traditional performances!! This should be no longer than 5 minutes long and can consist of a dance, live music, a slideshow with pictures of the home country, a sketch or whatever everyone come up with. The more creative, the better!

 
😊 Why participate? The more people sign up and prepare something, the more fun it is going to be. Out of experience, it is going to be very busy, as people (and especially Hult’s students) looooooove free food and alcohol. Hence, we ask as many of you as possible to sign up and represent your country as well as to speak to as many people as you can and tell them about Global Village.

Hard Facts:

• Thursday, 13th October, Social Area UG London Campus

• 3 Hours (7 - 10 PM) but please come at least 30-60 min earlier to prepare your table

• 200+ guests expected

• 75£ budget per table (People signing up from the same country will be put together)

• Alcohol allowed

  • Can only be served as tasters, not as standard sized drinks​

• Up to 15 performances

  • Max. 5 minutes long

  • Can include all available technology (Sound System, Screen etc.)

  • Talk to us about your ideas and we will figure out the logistics together

  • Examples: You could arrange a musical performance, dance or simply set up a slide show with music from your country.
